Fotis Georgiadis & Son

Since 1973, the company “Fotis Georgiadis & Son” in Komotini has been a symbol of culinary tradition and quality. It all began with Fotis Georgiadis, who, with experience as a chef since 1955 and having cooked for the then-kings, opened a small shop in the central square in 1973, offering grilled chickens accompanied by his unique salads. Demand from other restaurant professionals led to the creation of a production unit, with the official establishment of the factory in 1980.

Today, the third generation, Fotis and Angelos, continues the family tradition, using the finest ingredients from Thrace. The product range includes authentic salads such as tzatziki, Fotis’ eggplant salad, Russian salad, taramasalata, spicy cheese spread, paprika salad, gardener’s salad, ham salad, village-style eggplant salad, white tarama, and mayonnaise. Additionally, the company was the first in Greece to bottle the traditional Ayran drink. The shop continues to serve Fotis’ traditional grilled chickens, operating from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, except Sundays, and closed on major holidays such as Christmas and Easter.
